Job Summary: Participate in small engine service activities, programs and projects; strive to produce quality repair with minimal delay; communicate project status.
Duties & Responsibilities: The Service Technician Small Engine, will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer agricultural, turf, and construction equipment. Responsible for other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure customer and dealer equipment is in good working order.
Specifically:
1.Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment.
2.Participates in Service Training programs required.
3.Maintains current knowledge of McFarlane vendor equipment and products.
4.Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
5.Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
6.Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
7.Accounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties.
8.Performs other duties as assigned.
9.Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Education & Experience:
1.HS Diploma or equivalent. Technical degree, preferred.
2.Minimum one-year relevant small engine repair experience, preferred.
3. Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment.
4. Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment, preferred.
5. Current Driver s License with clean driving record.

1. Proficient communication skills, verbal and written, with strong customer service skills.
2. Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
3. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
4. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
Safety / Physical Requirements:
Demonstrate accountability for all safety procedures. Ability to continuously bend, walk, push and lift all day. This position requires driving, standing, sitting, bending, pulling, grasping, and twisting. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
