About the role
The Social Media & Content Specialist is responsible for creating and publishing Quantum Health's brand and corporate communication messages via the appropriate social media platforms. With a passion for reaching current and potential client and prospect audiences, this position will work within the Corporate Communications team to help develop and implement initiatives that increase social growth/engagement by building upon the company's reputation and driving marketing funnel effectiveness. This role will be a hybrid social strategist focused both on building and maintaining relationships with the audience and be focused on producing high-quality content that resonates with the audience, while social media management involves managing an account.
What you'll do
Execution
- Work closely with the broader teams to develop and administer social media content curation that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between customers, employees and the company. Curation and creation of content may include research reports/content, press announcements, member stories, awards, brand content, thought leadership, employee content, company news, etc.) and use animation and video to communicate .
- Develop content strategies and create content for a variety of businesses in both print and digital media. Research content and trends and work closely with corporate comms to design to ensure that the content is engaging and consistent across all media platforms (copy, images, video, written and audio/podcast, etc.). This role will be responsible for building and creating some content from scratch independently, and/or work with Project Management/Creative to manage some graphic production of social content assets.
- Partner with HR social support to align brand voice and consistency to recruiting and employee brand-related social programs and monitoring.
- Ensure a social media frequency that engages audiences, turning fans into customers and turning customers into advocates. Social media programs will focus across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Glassdoor, (and YouTube) each with different strategies and potentially unique content. Maintain company social media channels on native platforms, including administrative rights, security and privacy controls.
- Manage company reputation and increase brand reach and awareness as measured by sentiment. Monitor, listen and manage company's online reputation. Coordinate customer service issues on social media channels, supporting engagement and customer service platforms by providing timely , appropriate responses and interaction with users, including relaying Quantum Health experience concerns to internal (complaints) review team, and supporting responses for crisis communications and negative reviews.
- Manage and execute day-to-day operations (e.g., budget, schedule, communications, workload) based on business goals, priorities and directives.
Strategy Development & Planning
- Partner with leadership and department SMEs to implement a social media plan based on business goals and communications strategy, including maintaining an editorial calendar and executing campaigns to increase followers, fans, engagement and lead generation.
- Partner to develop and execute the social media editorial content mix to include corporate communication announcements, media interviews, etc. and funnel/lead generation content (Marketing) for prospecting, brand awareness, and corporate culture content (aligning with HR on associate engagement, job recruiting and company news).
- Apply a strong strategic understanding of the sales and marketing funnel, understanding which content is appropriate for each level of the funnel to utilize CTAs to attract visitors to the website, generate leads and nurture those prospects into becoming customers.
- Support Communications Team in extracting key social media (and other) data from campaigns and content program performance to set measurable goals, apply to key learnings including establishing benchmarks and driving actionable strategies.
Monitoring, Measurement, Reporting & Analytics
- With management, set specific social media objectives , goals and align KPIs to the business' goals/opportunities and report on ROI.
- Continually monitor social and utilize the engagement and response strategy for when, how and frequency of response. Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results, ensuring growth goals are met.
- Collect and review social media data to ensure the most optimized approach for delivering social media marketing campaigns to achieve goals. Learn/report on competitive activities. Build an internal reporting system that reports on high-level objectives and results, as well as key campaigns.
- Optimize new platforms for analytics, reporting and tracking. Become deeply immersed in the tools and resources available to utilize data insights to lead content approach, growing leads and optimizing channel performance.
- Plan, monitor competitive , integrate with CRM and measure social media performance.
- Become an internal subject matter expert as a Social Media leader through routinely sharing and presenting new industry-specific best practices keeping track of their industry, news and social media trends.

What you'll bring
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications , Marketing, Business, New Media, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred. Bachelor's degree with focus in Art, Graphic Design, or Video Production is also preferred.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent and 7+ years of experience in marketing, social media, and content creation may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years' proven work experience in marketing and social media (with social analytics knowledge).
- Experience with social media and CRM best practices and tools (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Glassdoor, HootSuite , Sprout Social, Social Studio, HubSpot, etc.)
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Strong written (and verbal) communication skills with writing experience using AP copy style guidelines
- Experience generating, editing, publishing and sharing daily content (original text, images, video, etc.) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Experience with Adobe Premier, Creatopy , Canva and other editing tools highly desired
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
- Analytical. Able to capture and interpret results to drive action and increase the effectiveness of social media marketing
- Highly organized, excellent project management and time-management skills; Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Available 24/7 when necessary for critical communications.
- Understanding of funnel and lead gen marketing and associated goals, content strategies and processes
- Able to make quick decisions under good judgement
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented
- Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
